Actually the first choice you have to make is what type dog you want ? So ask yourself these questions ..

1..Do I live in a condo or apartment or house with fenced yard ?

A...If a condo or apartment ,the best dog would be a small to medium one .That would require much less walking time .If a house ,then a large dog may be your choice .

2...Do I want a dog for protection or for companionship or both ?

A...Many dogs fit that category ..research the oes you like to find the right choice for you .

3.Do I have kids or want children in the future ?

A ..Uaually you would want a small to medium dog unless your children are older .

4....Do I have or does any member of my household have allergic reactyions to dogs?

A...You would then look for a dog that is less likely to affect allergies ,no dog is completely hypoallergenic to all but there are many that most allergy sufferers can enjoy .

1...does my breeder have a take back for life policy

A...should be yes

2...does my breeder understand my needs in a pet

A...should be yes

3..does my breeder have a vet recomendation

Answer..should be yes

4..does my breeder sell to pet stores /brokers ?

answer should be no

5..Does my breeder have a spay /neuter contract ?

Answwer should be yes

6..Is my breeder knowlegeable about the dogs she breeds ...

answer should be yes
